Breakfast was the only thing that was a little disappointing. It was kind of limited and commercial limited boring.

Selection of food minimal. But good. Water not hot enough to make tea.
Location ok
The hotel was easy to locate. We stopped for only one night because we had an early destination plan so we did not get to explore anything around the hotel. The property and room were both clean, quiet, and safe. Lisa at the front desk was helpful and offered us water upon our arrival.
The bathroom was small; the sink is outside the bathroom. The earlier reviews mentioned the small bathroom, so we were aware of it. It was not a big problem.

First, the air conditioner in both rooms did nit cool the room. We could not sleep.
Second, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. My wife and I woke up with sore backs. We had to drive for 8 hours to get back home. Try that with sore backs and four hours of interrupted sleep.
Third, because of the above we checked out a day early and we were charged for an additional day! We are retired and on a fixed income. The $110.00 extra you charged us is a lot of money.
Fourth, the people at the front desk just checked us in. No explanations.
Fifth, while we were at breakfast the cleaning crew invaded our room and started cleaning and were still in our room when we returned.

What used to be a quaint country town is now a bustling suburb of Greenville SC. This means you get the best of both worlds; a great place for nature walks and access to modern conveniences just a few minutes away.

Nice quiet town 10 miles north of booming Greenville.
Nice quiet town 10 miles north of booming Greenville. No traffic, No Rush, just a small southern town that will soon be ruined by people who believe good manors are some relic from the past. I held a door open for a Lady today in Asheville, N.C. and she said it had been years since someone did that. One of these days we gonna put some South in y’all’s mouth and you better just swallow!! I am speaking to the next generation regardless of where or how you were or were not raised. Simple courtesy is how you make things “inclusive”, welcoming, friendly, kind and open to all. The Upstate area of South Carolina from Travelers Rest to Clemson and Greenville in between is beautiful, friendly and safe. Plenty of fun things to do and good people to meet. For ALL Y’ALL ! Better food than any Southern state excluding our Cajun friends down in the Bayou!

We have relatives there. The vineyard is nice. It is close to Greenville, which we enjoyed. Many restaurants on Main Street in Greenville to choose from. Everyone is nice from homeless men who say hello to people walking their dogs. Very friendly. The waterfall and park in Greenville is beautiful.
